If you're my friend, your picture should be here. Send me a pic of yourself and i'll get it up here with a little blurb. *friends are not in order of preference!*
LIAM GIFFIN: Not yet famous, Liam and i go way back. See that little smirk on his face? it's really not that uncommon to see Liam making faces, and his quick-wit will keep you on your toes. Ah- the misunderstood poet.
STEPHANE LAJEUNESSE: My oldest friend (not by age, but by length) and the man with 9 lives. I think we decided that we've been friends for 7 or 8 years now? and we've kept in touch the entire time, despite being moved around and away from each other. The ladies' man, he's dated quite a collection of my friends. SO many good times, and good stories... congrats on your recent engagement Laj ;) and all this time i thought you were saving yourself for me j/k
GEORGE LIAKOS: a.k.a el presidente, a.k.a gorgeous george, a.k.a as zillion other names...! George is a polish-greek-(semi) Canadian, and yes, he's single ladies. If you enjoy international travel and endless inside jokes, then you've just found mister right. To this day, i still hold that George is THE funniest person i know. He's like the male version of Carmen SanDiego. Hahaha
GENEVIEVE THAIN: the one, the only, Geneviève Thain. Party-girl extraordinaire!... We've been pretty much best friends since high school, and still are great friends. The only, problem? You gotta book her ahead of time to hang out she's so busy! j/k. What would i do without ya pipichi ;)
KEITH TOPLIS: He's a pilot, need i say more? He IS my ex, but we're still really good friends. These pictures make him look like quite the ladies' man, hahaha (he's no player tho). Ah Keith, what can i say?! Always up for a good time, and a good dance club. This fiery red-head is the reason i had fun in the soo. i luv ya buddy.
JOHN HENDRICK: or "the farmboi" as i like to call him. But don't be fooled, he's hardcore, and gonna be worth a million bucks some day. Another friend from highschool, we had some good times especially in drama class ("hey riiick!").
CHESTER: (Francois Patenaude) He's the cutie on the right. I have no idea who those other people are, it's just the picture he sent me. Chester and i went to high school together and now he's too busy to ever talk to me (j/k)... If you've ever met Chester, you'd know that he's an "either hate me or love me" kinda guy.
EDITH PATENAUDE-ROCHON: Yes she's pretty. Yes she's done modelling. And yes she's wicked cool ;) we go all the way back to good ol high school, and good ol times like the day she almost put her eye out with a pencil in french class... good times. Je t'aime Edith!
SEAN POYNTON: mister international here, sean and i met in sault ste marie when we went to college together. The smartest guy there without a doubt. I was dating his roomate/housemate, he was dating MY roomate for awhile... ah college. Now, he's all over the world, backpacking around asia. when he gets back, he'll most likely pick up a huge-paying job, and make all of us jealous of his life. lol. an awesome friend to have, i'm glad we stay in touch.
CARLOS EINSFELD: (seen here with his woman) Carlos and i go way back, to the best summer of my life. he was my supervisor on a summer course, but we quickly became good friends, and even after our course had ended, and even though we were at virtually complete opposite sides of the country- we stayed in contact. then, when he moved to within a hour from me, our friendship re-blossomed. now we're apart again, but closer than ever in a different way. he's in the military, so we never know where he's going, but i know we'll always be friends, that i know will never change. he's a perfect mix of the big brother i never had, and a best friend.
TIM O'MALLEY: the crazy nova scotian that became more of a friend than i thought he would (not what you think). when i left the soo, and decided i was moving out to nova scotia, he was the closest friend i had here, because he was pretty much the ONLY friend i had here! he took me into his little circle of friends, and even introduced me to Chris. now, he's done school, living somewhere in Moncton, flying and doing what he loves.
BYRON DALE: computer nerd by day, crazymotherfucker by night! byron and i met thru a common friend and it was like we had already been friends for years! now he lives in Ottawa and i live in Halifax, but that's not gonna stop us from havin a good time. Riiiich! (what a sexy bitch! lol)
i love sepia
GALEN SMITH: that's Dr. Smith to you! Galen is usually pretty quiet, and to look at him you'd think he was pretty innocent, but don't be fooled. he's trouble in disguise. he rarely says something that isn't (supposed to be) funny. galen will rule the world one day, so you'd better take a good look and remember his face so you can get his autograph next time you see him on the bussling streets of Almonte.
JESSICA McCARTHY: One of the "Lucky 7", a friend from work, and my wingman. This is us party'n it up on a girl's night out downtown, you might recognise this picture from the Dome's website, that's right- we're bar-stars lol... Even though she's moving away, i know we'll still be close friends :) (at least she's moving somewhere i go often!)
Enjoy O-town Jess!!!
KELLIE TANNER: oh Kellie, you little hearbreaker! Another "Lucky 7" friend, she's always up for a good time. Just don't ask her to go to LaGuardia OR St-Maarten, eek! A kareoke pro and fiddle master, she's the one and only Beaverbank super star!!! :P
SCOTT AND COLLEEN DURNO: Our new neighbours, they're the coolest people you could ever want livin next to you. They have 2 parrots- their babies! Keep an eye open for them in upcoming Kenya trip pictures :)
p.s. the pic on the left is a joke- i TOLD you i'd put it up Colleen!
